Papaya

Papaya (also known as Carica Papaya L. ) is a fruit very common in tropical and subtropical countries. In Australia, where it is also known as paw paw, it grows in tropical areas of Queensland.


Being rich in powerful active ingredients and natural enzymes with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, papaya helps repairing, brightening and rejuvenating the skin. One of the main enzymes of papaya is papain, which thanks to its light exfoliating effect regenerates the skin by eliminating the signs of scars, redness and thickness.

Kakadu plum (also known as Terminalia ferdinandiana ) is an Australian fruit with extraordinary antiseptic properties and with the highest concentration of vitamin C (3000 mg per 100g of fruit) of any other fruit in the world (up to 100 times the vitamin C content of an orange)! Vitamin C is rich in antioxidants and is essential for shiny and young skin.

Kangaroo Apple ( Solanum aviculare ) grows in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and along the east coast of Australia. Its fruit contains a soft pulp with many seeds that has long been used as an anti-inflammatory by aboriginal populations to treat swelling of limbs and ligaments.

Backhousia citriodora is a plant of the Myrtaceae family, genus Backhousia. It is endemic to the subtropical rainforests of central and southeastern Queensland, and is distributed in areas from Mackay to Brisbane.

 

It is also known as lemon scented myrtle, sweet verbena, sweet verbena myrtle.

 

It has very powerful cleansing and detoxifying properties. It balances the sebaceous production and reduces the dilation of the pores, giving the complexion a uniform and bright appearance. It helps in case of acne as it strengthens capillaries and minimises dark circles.

GOTU KOLA

Gotu kola is a plant native to the pantropical areas of Asia (but also grows in Australia and Africa) whose scientific name is Centella asiatica.
